| Contender is following in his full sibling's championship ways. He shares the well earned title of WPCSA North Central Region Champion Sec. D colt with his half brother, Castleberrys Aviator. We are especially proud of Contender's Reserve Supreme win at the Central National held in conjunction with the Centennial Celebration. There were 137 entries there and Judge JoAnn Williams felt that Contender was the second best of all (all ages/ all sections). Not bad for a baby Cob that was one day shy of his fourth month of age! We later learned that JoAnn Williams is herself a Grand Prix Dressage rider. This made the win especially sweet for us as we put so much emphasis on correct movement in our breeding program. Contender is one of a very successful cross that has produced other National Champions in hand. His oldest full sibling, Castleberrys Delight was the 2008 USDF Open (All breeds) Reserve Ch. at First Level. Contender could be your next champion! |
