Not just a pretty face....
Dundee is the foundation stallion of Castleberry Cobs. We were fortunate to be able to purchase him in
2001. He has everything that we were looking for in a Sec. D stallion. He has the bloodlines up close of
many Royal Welsh champions as well as top performance lines. He boasts both Nebo Black Magic and
Derwen Rosinas Last as his grandsires. He has tremendous bone, a gorgeous, typey pony head topped by
small, well shaped and far apart ears, great shoulder angle, pleasing topline, powerful hindquarters and
beautiful, up-hill  movement with lots of suspension. All of this is combined with a willing and people friendly
disposition. Dundee is stamping these qualities onto his offspring and has already produced National
champion colts and fillies with each foal crop. His oldest offspring have begun exciting performance careers
and are continuing their winning ways in Dressage, Hunters and Combined Driving. He is now proving to be
a broodmare sire as his daughters are producing outstanding foals.
We were thrilled to discover that Dundee's picture is featured on the Welsh Pony and Cob Society of
America's website for their example of a Section D Welsh Cob.
