Castleberrys Dyma Hi (*Tuscani Dundee x *Bwlchllan Bessie by Derwen Desert Express) Foaled 2009

On April 27, 2009 we were blessed with our long awaited filly from Dundee and Bess. This cross has produced multiple champions and Dressage stars and we love the type and temperaments that has consistently come through. Bess had produced two outstanding fillies earlier for us but we couldn't keep either of those at the time. Once we were ready and able to keep a filly, Bess had three colt foals in a row besides some time off from broodmare duties. Five years later, Dyma Hi (pronounced Dimma He) was born and she was worth the wait. Dyma Hi is Welsh for, "She is here"! Dyma Hi is also the name of Dundee's mother, Derwen Dyma Hi, who was the top selling foal at the 1978 Llanarth sale and a great show mare. She is pictured on page 75 of Wynne Davies book, The Welsh Cob. Dyma Hi will be retained to carry on the excellent bloodlines that were first imported for the foundation of Castleberry Welsh Cobs .

These are Dyma Hi's full sisters; Castleberrys Elegance on the left and Castleberrys Delight on the right. We think she will grow up to be just as beautiful and talented as they are. Castleberrys Elegance was the American National Champion Cob Filly under UK judge Geraint Jones of the Nebo Stud. Castleberrys Delight was USDF 1st Level Open Reserve Champion All Breeds and National Dressage Pony Cup Champion. We are so happy to have a filly of this proven quality to retain. Her full brothers are equally impressive and can be seen by clicking here.
