| Castleberrys Penny Lane |
Penny is a 7 yr old, very kind and beautiful 14hh Cob mare. Jerry and Barbara Garner had generously leased their champion driving mare, Thornlea Dancing Queen to us on a foal share. Penny was foaled here at Castleberry and went to live with Jerry & Barbara when she was weaned. We remember her as one of the smartest foals we have ever had here. Penny is a thinker and very brave. She would challenge herself and make up little games to play such as jumping back and forth over logs and small ditches. Penny is also very friendly and people oriented. Jerry Garner has said that Penny is the friendliest pony they have ever had in his 40+ years of breeding Welsh ponies and Cobs. Jerry also feels that Penny's foal was the best he's bred. Penny is a winner in all aspects; Beauty, brains, movement, temperament and bloodlines. She is trained to drive double, but has not been driven for over a year. A sweeter mare you cannot find. |
