| Regal was bred to be a Dressage star, however an unfortunate accident as a yearling left her with nerve damage and a slight but permanent head tilt and left ear droop. This ended any chance of a show career. It worked out well for us as she is exactly the well bred, high quality, sweet natured and super moving type of Warmblood mare that we were searching for to cross-breed with Dundee. Our hopes of producing outstanding, half-Cob Sport Horses have been realized with this successful cross. Regal has blessed us with five super moving, athletic foals. The first four foals were sired by Dundee. They are maturing between 15.2 to 16.1hh. Regals latest foal is sired by our junior stallion and she has once again produced a beautiful and super moving athlete. Regal has been bred back to Ffame for a 2011 foal. Regal measures in just under 16.2hh, but height runs in her genes as her sire is 17.1hh and her full brother is 17.3hh! We are very pleased and excited of the foals resulting from this cross. They are an excellent combination of the Warmblood, Thoroughbred and Welsh Cob's finest qualities. They have outstanding trainabilty and work ethic and and show bravery and natural talent to fences. A long time horse owner and Dressage rider/CDE competitor who now owns one of Regal's foals states, "This is the best horse that I have ever owned". |

| Here is a picture of Regal's sire, Limerick at age 4. "Glenny" is an imported Dutch Warmblood by Glendale. He was a dressage star here in the midwest under riders Sue Kolstad and Kim and Yvonne Barteau. He has a stellar disposition and is also becoming known as a broodmare sire. Judging by Regal's offspring we are inclined to agree. |
